Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis held a public health roundtable on March 18 with medical professionals to discuss mask mandates, lockdowns and other concerns related to COVID-19.

The roundtable included former Trump coronavirus adviser Scott Atlas, epidemiologist Professor Sunetra Gupta, and other medical professionals.

YouTube has since taken the original video down, which was embedded in a WTSP Tampa Bay report, and the screen now states that the video was removed for violating YouTube’s terms of service.

YouTube’s “COVID misinformation policy” is as follows:

“YouTube doesn’t allow content about COVID-19 that poses a serious risk of egregious harm.

“YouTube doesn’t allow content that spreads medical misinformation that contradicts local health authorities’ or the World Health Organization’s (WHO) medical information about COVID-19. This is limited to content that contradicts WHO or local health authorities’ guidance on:

  • Treatment
  • Prevention
  • Diagnostic
  • Transmission
  • Social distancing and self isolation guidelines
  • The existence of COVID-19”

Jeffery A.. Tucker of the American Institute of Economic Research, blasted YouTube, claiming, “When the CDC and WHO began to contradict themselves on many issues, among which included immunities and their source, YouTube took a different direction, curating the “science” themselves and deleting any video that its employees didn’t like. “

Meanwhile Chinese State-run Xinhua News Agency has videos still on the platform under New China TV, spreading Chinese Communist propaganda.

One video in particular titled “The Truth about Xinjiang” is still up for viewing, even after an independent report from a non-governmental U.S. think tank determined that China had breached all articles for the 1984 UN Genocide Convention. Current Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, has announced that he agrees with his predecessors assessment that China’s actions are genocide.

They are still allowed on YouTube.

DeSantis and his panel of medical professionals discussing the merits of opening up the state is not allowed.
