Columbia University students walk out on Hillary Clinton lecture, in another Israel conflict protest

Columbia University students staged a walkout Wednesday on a lecture by Hillary Clinton amid the ongoing upheaval at colleges across the U.S. in response to Israel’s war on Hamas.

Clinton, a former secretary of state, is a professor of practice at the university’s School of International and Public Affairs and a presidential fellow at Columbia World Projects.

The protest was led by students over a billboard in support of pro-Palestinian students whose names and pictures they allege were obtained through the school system, then put on a billboard.

The billboard labeled them “Columbia’s Leading Antisemites” and was affixed to a truck circling the Ivy League school’s Manhattan campus, according to The New York Times.
