Harvard’s shocking response to AIM mobile billboards
November 9, 2023
Harvard University, once an elite academic institution, is now embroiled in antisemitism and hate from some of its students and faculty.
Following the October 7 terrorist attack on Israel that killed approximately 1,400 men, women, and children, student organization leaders signed an egregious statement that began, “We, the undersigned student organizations, hold the Israeli regime entirely responsible for all unfolding violence.”
With a sordid history of antisemitism stemming back to the 1920s, Accuracy in Media decided to hold students accountable by amplifying their cause on the side of a mobile billboard.
AIM President Adam Guillette gave Harvard a personal visit, accompanied by the billboard, which displayed the name and photo of several student leaders whose clubs signed the antisemitic statement.
It was safe to say he was not welcome.
While attempting to create an open conversation with a pro-Palestine protester, an unknown man interrupts telling Guillette, “F*ck you.”
This same man continues to follow and verbally accost Guillette and the mobile billboard across campus and even to lunch.
He was not the only one to get confrontational.
One woman, who was caught on camera hitting the mobile billboard, scaring the female truck driver, stating that the billboard is “violence.”
Others seemed hesitant to condemn Hamas as terrorists and did not want to declare that Hamas was responsible for the actions that took place on October 7.
Another man approached the truck and asked, “Could we pay you to leave?”
Guillette responded, “Not a chance.” Then, after hearing the story of how Guillette’s grandparents escaped antisemitism in Russia to flee to the U.S., began to fake cry, stating sarcastically, “Yeah, that’s so terrible. There were so many dead Jews there.”
AIM will continue to make sure that Harvard students and the world know who the antisemites are on their campuses. It is time for elite universities to be held accountable for allowing antisemitism to run unchecked throughout their campuses.
