AIM blasts Berkeley Law, USC for antisemitism at 2024 commencement ceremonies
May 10, 2024
In a bold move that’s sure to ruffle the feathers of Berkeley’s so-called “tolerant” elite, Accuracy in Media deployed a mobile billboard to the University of California at Berkeley Law School commencement ceremony on Friday.
The star of the show? A glaring exposé of nine student organizations that, in a dazzling display of open-mindedness, have banned any speaker who supports Israel from gracing their enlightened campus events.
You can’t make this stuff up. These student groups have essentially declared, “Free speech for all — unless you dare support Israel.” AIM’s billboard, complete with the cheeky URL www.BerkeleyBansJews.com, invited everyone to send a not-so-friendly reminder to these groups condemning their discriminatory and frankly hateful stance. Because who needs diverse viewpoints when you can just censor the ones you don’t like, right?
This mobile message began making the rounds at the Hearst Greek Theatre starting at 10 a.m. PST.
In the images below, you can see where the truck toured the campus demanding accountability. But wait, there’s more!
AIM also took the fight to the University of Southern California, targeting the antisemitic antics of this year’s valedictorian, Asna Tabassum. Despite her well-documented anti-Zionist rants, USC thought she was the perfect poster child for its graduating class. Nice job, USC!
The billboard, showcasing AsnaTabassum.com and CarolFolt.com, urged supporters to demand the resignation of USC President Carol Folt, who’s been spectacularly ineffective at curbing campus antisemitism.
This rolling critique roamed USC from noon to 8 p.m. PST, and began at Hoover Street and Jefferson Boulevard. The mobile billboard served as a moving testament to the fight against hate and for true diversity of thought.
