AIM mobile billboards return to Columbia University, demand accountability for campus antisemitism
September 4, 2024
To confront the growing antisemitic movement at Columbia University, Accuracy in Media is again deploying mobile billboards to directly name and shame students leading the charge.
On Wednesday, these billboards will roll through campus, spotlighting individuals who have been fueling hatred and antisemitism while the university administration continues to stand idly by.

AIM is ramping up the pressure on both the university and the student body as part of the Antisemitism Accountability Project. Despite mounting evidence and repeated calls for action, Columbia leadership has failed to enforce meaningful consequences for these students, enabling a toxic environment of antisemitic sentiment to thrive. The billboards are aimed at making sure those responsible are held accountable, leaving no room for complacency from the university’s administration.
This isn’t AIM’s first offensive on Columbia’s campus. Since the October 7 Hamas terrorist attack on Israel, AIM has been unrelenting, deploying mobile billboards to expose antisemitic students and calling for the resignation of top university officials. AIM even launched the website ColumbiaHatesJews.com, empowering nearly 4,000 activists to send over 37,000 emails demanding former president Minouche Shafik’s resignation—a demand met when Shafik stepped down on August 14.
With this latest action, AIM is doubling down on its efforts to force Columbia’s hand and root out antisemitism from the campus. The billboards and action alert are just the latest in the ongoing battle to purge hate from Columbia once and for all.
The message from AIM is clear: If Columbia University refuses to discipline these students, AIM will make sure the world knows exactly who is behind the spread of hatred on campus.
