Watchdog group sends ‘Swingers Against Lockdowns’ truck to home of NYC COVID czar
Watchdog group Accuracy in Media (AIM) on Tuesday sent a digital billboard truck to the home of former New York City Mayor’s Office Senior Advisor for Public Health Jay Varma, calling him out for admitting to hosting large nude gatherings during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The COVID czar, according to undercover video posted by podcaster Steven Crowder last week, admitted the “deviant” sexual practices were “not COVID-friendly,” but allowed him to be his “authentic self.” He revealed in the video he hosted one such event while urging city residents to remain isolated.
“Everyone had a blast because everyone was so pent up,” Varma said of that experience. “Something about bodies being close to each other, just being naked with friends.”
Adam Guillette, president of AIM, sent the truck reading “Swingers Against Lockdowns” to Varma’s home Tuesday. Images on the truck also demanded Varma apologize for his hypocrisy, as well as admit the city’s lockdowns were “useless.”
Protesters from “Swingers Against Lockdowns” were also on scene, according to Guillette.
