WATCH: Revisiting the law firm that hired two Columbia antisemites

By Accuracy In Media

Accuracy in Media returned to the offices of Debevoise & Plimpton in New York City in a continued push for accountability.

Debevoise & Plimpton was one of the dozens of law firms who signed an open letter condemning antisemitism on college campuses across the country and pledged “zero tolerance” in their workplaces — including their hiring practices.

But they went on to hire Avery Bashe and Tess Kim, two of the leading antisemites that have since graduated from Columbia University. During their time there, Bashe and Kim held leadership positions in groups that signed a hateful letter blaming Israel for the October 7 Hamas attack. While many students ultimately rescinded their signatures, Bashe and Kim did not. Columbia never held them accountable. Debevoise & Plimpton pledged accountability in their hiring process, but failed to keep that pledge. So now, Accuracy in Media is demanding accountability when no one else will.
