AIM challenges Dallas-area schools over circumventing laws
January 8, 2025
Accuracy in Media went to confront Dallas-area school administrators directly for circumventing Texas law.
AIM undercover investigators spoke with teachers advising parents on ways to bypass Texas’ “Save Women’s Sports Act.”
The law, signed by Gov. Greg Abbott in January 2023 and effective since September 2023, requires public K-12 student-athletes to participate only on sports teams that align with the biological sex listed on their birth certificates.
In a 2024 undercover investigation, Accuracy in Media said administrators from the Dallas and Richardson independent school districts were caught on camera advising undercover journalists on how to sidestep the law. AIM sent mobile billboards Wednesday to draw attention to the administrators’ disregard for state law.
The billboards display a link to www.TexasSchoolsLie.com, where the group says concerned citizens can contact elected officials and demand action against the administrators in question.
The campaign is intended to protect the integrity of Texas law and the rights of female athletes. The allegations have added fuel to the broader national debate over gender and sports participation.
The Dallas and Richardson ISDs have not commented publicly on the group’s claims or the planned protests.
It’s time to hold these radicals accountable. Demand school choice now by visiting TexasSchoolsLie.com.
