Act now! Charges dropped against pro-Hamas radicals

April 30, 2025

By Accuracy in Media

Civilization is only safe when those who break the law are punished. It’s time to tell Los Angeles City Attorney Hydee Feldstein Soto to do her job and keep us safe by prosecuting criminal charges.

In May 2024, a pro-Hamas Palestine Solidarity Encampment at UCLA led to a mass outbreak of violence that left dozens injured. More than 200 people were arrested in relation to the encampment.

Feldstein Soto decided that only two people would be charged for their role in the unlawful encampment, with mere misdemeanors. This was reportedly “for evidentiary reasons or due to a university’s failure or inability to assist in identification or other information needed for prosecution.”

This means UCLA is complicit in allowing unlawful assemblies to go unpunished on campus. It also means the Los Angeles City Attorney is derelict in her duty to keep the city safe by choosing which cases to prosecute for political purposes.
