AIM challenges Schill. Again.
August 6, 2025
Accuracy in Media’s mobile billboard visited Northwestern University President Michael Schill once more before he headed to Capitol Hill for further testimony today, August 5th.
AIM billboard truck visited the presidential mansion in Evanston, Illinois, which read “Michael Schill is a coward.”
It also called him “Hamas’s favorite university president” and once again called on the embattled Northwestern president to resign.
AIM President Adam Guillette asked people in Evanston their thoughts on the billboard, and was met with profanity from many passers by.
But others were grateful for AIM’s work holding anti-semitic universities’ feet to the fire.
“I saw your videos man. Keep up the good work,” one man told Guillette.
Another simply said, “I like my paycheck,” and declined to opine further.
Northwestern University notably cut a deal with pro-Hamas demonstrators last year, agreeing to hire two Palestinian professors in exchange for the protesters to follow school rules.
They also caved to the pro-Hamas mob and agreed to give five Palestinian undergraduates full rides to the school.
After this agreement, Mkhaimar Abusada was brought in to reportedly teach a weekly class on the “Palestinian National Movement.”
But Abusada is on the board of both the Independent Commission for Human Rights (ICHR) and the Palestinian Center for Human Rights (PCHR)–which a review by the Washington Free Beacon found to frequently partner with anti-Semitic terrorists.
Tuesday won’t be Schill’s first time on Capitol Hill answering for this crisis.
He was questioned by members of the House Education and Workforce Committee last year and asked about his actions to protect Jewish students.
In response to a report that a Northwestern University Jewish student was told “to go back to Germany and get gassed” while in the school’s pro-Hamas encampment, Schill said: “I’ve heard that alleged. Again, it is being investigated. We will investigate any claim of discrimination.”
He also confirmed at the time there had been zero suspensions or expulsions in response to the encampment, explaining that investigations were underway.
Schill’s actions emboldened the antisemites on his campus and set a dangerous precedent for schools throughout the country. It’s time for him to resign.
