Local News Reports AIM is Over the Target in Ohio
January 21, 2026
Secret recordings from an online media group are causing controversy in northern Ohio.
Accuracy In Media says it’s targeted hundreds of schools across roughly a dozen states on the issue of transgender athletes playing school sports.
In April of 2025, members of the group entered Fremont school district to inquire about a relative enrolling in the school.
The woman recording the video states to a woman in the front office, whom the group identifies as assistant to human resources, that her sister is transgender and is interested in playing sports at the school.
Here’s how the encounter unfolds.
- “And then, my husband and I also wanted to keep her in athletics, because we were able to in Virginia. Is that something we’re still able to do here?”
- “Sure. You bet.”
- “Even though she’s trans?”
- “You bet, you bet. We have other kiddos. I know we do.”
- “Ok, would we have to, like, tell parents?”
- “I don’t think so.”
Local 12 spoke with Accuracy In Media president Adam Guillette about what transpired in the video.
“We think it’s incredibly important for parents to realize the people in charge of their child’s education put their ideology in front of the education of your child and the safety of your child.”
“Does it give you any pause, that this isn’t the type of person who should be giving these directives or answering for the district, when, at the end of the day, it appears this woman was more or less a secretary?” asked Local 12.
“We always speak with the person the district tells us is the most appropriate person to speak with, and we see that with a variety of different roles and districts across Ohio all have the same focus – to put their agenda ahead of the safety of young girls. This is, I think, the 8th district in Ohio, in different positions and titles and they all sing the same tune.”
Accuracy In Media has also posted similar videos at school districts in our area, including Princeton, Reading, Norwood and Three Rivers.
