ASU Enrollment Coach admits they’re still ‘actively’ incorporating DEI

Arizona State University (ASU) appears to still be pushing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) on students in spite of policies against it.
At ASU’s Mary Lou Fulton College for Teaching and Learning Innovation, not much has changed, according to Undergraduate Services Enrollment Coach Megan Neumann.
In fact, she told Accuracy in Media’s undercover investigator the school is “actively” incorporating DEI.
“I know even within our team, like, we have had to be cautious about the DEI, but we’re not like straying away from it, but we just have to be cautious in communicating with students or….” she admitted on AIM’s hidden camera.
She even bragged about ASU being the most inclusive school in the state. “I would say out of, like, even all of Arizona, ASU is the biggest, like, inclusive and making initiatives towards that,” Neumann said.
She explained that her last job at a private school was “not my place to be” because she was advised not to “talk about anything political, any hot topics, anything like that.”
Neumann also told AIM’s undercover investigative journalist that the school has a “specialization” available for students to take known as “Justice, equity, diversity, inclusion.”
She is just the latest ASU faculty member to be caught red-handed, willingly admitting the university’s defiance to a complete stranger.
Previously, ASU Associate Director Rebecca Loftus was caught saying, “Most of our faculty do tend to be a little more on the liberal side. You have to be careful with the language that you use. We’re doing pretty much what we were doing before.”
Chandra Crudup, Associate Dean of Inclusive Design for Equity and Access and Clinical Associate Professor in several ASU units, also admitted to AIM on hidden camera, “We started changing language.”
“But we are still doing the same thing,” she assured AIM’s undercover investigator.
Last year, the Arizona State Board of Education moved to begin stripping DEI from state standards.
Federally, President Trump has taken steps to prevent institutions engaged in pushing woke ideology from receiving taxpayer money, which schools across the country are reliant on.
ASU administrators seem to believe they can continue deceptively pushing DEI and it will go unnoticed, so long as they adjust their language.
AIM is making sure that doesn’t happen.
