‘It’s in Our Hearts’: Arizona State University Is Obsessed With DEI

Arizona State University has already been exposed several times by Accuracy in Media for its defiance of federal policies against Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

AIM has now caught yet another ASU administrator confirming that DEI is secretly continuing at the university.

“I know that the new legislation has asked us to eliminate it, but it’s in our hearts in education, so education has that just naturally,” said Veronica McDaniel, a recruitment specialist at ASU’s Mary Lou Fulton College for Teaching and Learning Innovation.

In conversation with AIM’s undercover investigative journalist, McDaniel also admitted that Fulton College’s curriculum “hasn’t changed much,” despite federal law. In other words, future generations of teachers are still being exposed to DEI, which will influence how they treat children in their classrooms.

She reassured the journalist that DEI remains part of the curriculum in Fulton College, adding that prospective students shouldn’t be scared about it being removed.

President Trump has used executive orders to prevent institutions that push woke ideology from receiving taxpayer money. Last year, the Arizona State Board of Education moved to begin stripping DEI from state standards in order to comply with federal law and avoid losing this crucial federal funding.

McDaniel is not the first ASU official to divulge the university’s ongoing DEI efforts. In fact, AIM has uncovered several faculty members who made similar admissions about ASU’s brazen defiance.

Undergraduate Services Enrollment Coach Megan Neumann previously revealed that DEI is still being actively incorporated, telling AIM’s investigator: “I know even within our team, like, we have had to be cautious about the DEI, but we’re not like straying away from it, but we just have to be cautious in communicating with students.”

And she’s not the only one to acknowledge the subterfuge. Chandra Crudup, Associate Dean of Inclusive Design for Equity and Access, admitted on hidden camera, “We started changing language.”

“But we are still doing the same thing,” she told AIM’s investigator.

ASU faculty have shown an unwavering commitment to DEI, even when doing so puts hundreds of millions in federal funding on the line. And they think they can get away with it so long as they adjust the language to hide the divisive ideology.

But AIM isn’t letting them avoid accountability.
