Professor Who Called Zionists “Racist Genocidal Rapist Killers” Faces Growing Pressure to Resign

Accuracy in Media brought its mobile billboard campaign to Seattle Central College on Thursday, demanding the resignation of professor David Quintero after a series of anti-Jewish statements surfaced in both emails and social media posts.

Quintero sparked outrage after sending emails in which he described “Zionist Israeli dual-citizens” as “racist genocidal rapist killers” and called on Human Resources to take action against Zionist employees. The comments have raised serious concerns about whether Jewish students and faculty can expect fair treatment from a professor who appears openly hostile toward them. 

“This college is employing an unhinged racist and he needs to resign immediately,” said Accuracy in Media President Adam Guillette. “When David Quintero isn’t sending racist emails to his colleagues about Jews, he’s posting about them on social media.”

According to Accuracy in Media, Quintero’s public social media activity reveals that the emails were not an isolated incident. In his own words, Quintero has argued there is no meaningful distinction between Jews and Zionists. Critics say that makes his characterization of Zionists as “racist genocidal rapist killers” a direct attack on Jews.

Quintero has also reportedly promoted conspiracy theories questioning the Jewish identity of Ashkenazi and Sephardic Jews, while sharing claims that Israel orchestrated the October 7 terrorist attack and killed its own citizens. Accuracy in Media argues that these posts demonstrate a broader pattern of anti-Jewish animus that extends far beyond political criticism of the Israeli government.

For AIM, the most troubling aspect of the controversy is not simply what Quintero said, but the confidence with which he said it.

“The most alarming question is why he felt comfortable sharing these views with colleagues,” Guillette said. “Did he believe they agreed with him? Were administrators aware of these views? How deep does this problem go at Seattle Central College?”

The organization is calling on the college to require Quintero’s resignation and conduct a comprehensive investigation into whether similar views are tolerated elsewhere within the institution.

Seattle Central College has reportedly announced an investigation into the matter, but AIM says that alone is not enough.

“No Jewish student or colleague can reasonably feel comfortable with a professor who openly demonizes Jews and promotes conspiracy theories about them,” Guillette said. “Students, alumni, and taxpayers deserve answers. The college must determine how deep this problem goes, who knew about it, and why it was tolerated.”
